Its a chip you install yourself, basically software. Does this mean ill be able to acquire games via torrent sites, stick them on a disk and play them?

There was a way in through some Zelda game or something, but I never finished it, so I half did it

there is a soft mod that you can do by putting a SD memory card in the front we have done it to ours search on google
and yeah once you have done that you can download the games and put them on to a disc or a external hard drive
if you want to put them on dicsc send me a u2u and i will tell you what type of discs yo use because they dont like the cheapest discs

yeah hackmii, stick it on a usb card, then click go, everything is then installed takes like 15 mins if that.
can then boot games from dvd or usb harddrive.

I read a guide that said the latest Wii's come with 4.2 or 4.3 software and wont play backups from a disk. USB or HDD only....
