Might prematurley wear your drive shaft through stress - nothing too serious though i doubt.

Go on do it you know you want to

Driveshafts and bearings should be ok given that they run i think 16"s as standard and need to be strong to cope with the V6 power.

As for whether they will go on, dont know sorry. Think it will need arch mods though. Maybe better off at looking at 18"s.

I was just thinking that the Nissan Pulsar's (i know its a different car etc) had problems even changing wheel sizes by an inch and they threw a lot of driveshafts which is why they were recommended by specialists to upgrade them when aftermarket wheels were added.

i know when i was first offered the wheels i wasnt really that interested but the more i think about it the more i want to do it. as for standard wheels my car runs on 15's but thats kus its only the cdx. sri are 16 and gsi are 17 usually. should imagine the shafts ect are the same though for em all like u say need to handle the v6.

As i put earlier - the pulsars are poweful motors as standard and they throw driveshafts going up one size of wheel.

on the vectra i had before i put 17's straight on with standard suspension and it only ever caught with a full load. ended up takin the grinder to the lip on the inside of the arch which did the trick. think i will go on vectra sport and see if anyone there has done it kus i dont fancy havin arch work done tbh.
