Author x16xe cutting out at junctions??

hi, ive got a 1.2 8v which i converted too a x16xe, now eml comes on and it cuts out at junctions. only code in it is for the speedo as the cable is broken, could this cause it too cut out like this? cheers.

Yes it can make it cut out if the speedo doesn't work, either that or the ICV.
