my dream guitar is on eBay at the min

its £580 delivered, thing is Im nervous about having such an expensive musical instrument in the post, postage is £30 and the seller has reassured me that its next day with parcelforce and that its fully insured, tracked door to door and the guitar is in a padded fitted case and he said it will be in several layers of bubble wrap and waterproof wrapping

and how is best to send such a large amount of money?

I would go and collect it but its in Gourock near Glasgow, which is 5 hours each way

I think Im being over paranoid / Cynical

Is the guitar in a hard case? If so it should be okay especially if wrappe in bubble and waterfproof wrapping too.

Bank transfer is the best way to do the payment. Or Paypal maybe.

Might be worth having a roadtrip for it? Then you can check it and hand over cash.

If its your dream guitar then surely its worth it!

Have you got a missus? Take her away for the night or 2 in Scotland. Everyones a winner.

Do this, if there is any problems then you can dispute it.

Parcel Force is usually insured for about £250 unless he pays for more insurance which can cost as little as £8. Its fully tracked and alright. Regardless who he sends it with, hes going to have to package it very well.

That looks like a pretty good case, if that's well wrapped up even couriers would be doing well to damage it.

Don't trust carriers to get it to you in one piece, no matter how well its wrapped.

It'll be fine in that case. Its a snug enough fit and with bubble wrap to stop the case itself getting bumped it'll be sound. Just pay via paypal or bank transfer dont send cash
