Whats the best way to achieve it? TB's? carbs/bike carbs?

Also what will i have to do to my now standard engine (bar fast road cams which i will beable to use) ARP's? etc

What management are you going to run mate?

Take it you would only need ignition only?

For throttle bodies you'd need Stand Alone Management would you not?

I've got MBE, no igntion only on carbs, the injections are controlled by the ECU.

It all comes in the kit with the loom.

A 50 shot of Nitrous on a progressive controller should do the trick.

Is 200bhp essential? Why not whack a set of carbs on it the now and see how you feel? A few folk on here have had 175/180bhp from bike carbs alone!

One bit of advise i would give is dont go chasing numbers. It gets costly.

Go V6.Much cheaper and easier to crack 200.

87MM pistons, lightened and balanced bottom end, ARP's, Piper cams, 3 angle valve seats. You'll also need a type C manifold and 2 1/2'' system.

Might be worth just getting LSD, which helps a lot.

If your gonna fit something as heavy as a V6 you might as well go for a Saab turbo.

skimmed head to raise compression, high comp pistons, cams, throttle bodies (obv SAM is needed) decent exhaust, ARP rod bolts, you can use the standard rods as long as you're not revving to 8k as you would need steel rods and a steel crank.

anyone who says im wrong, bollox to you i know that will see 200+ bhp as its proven in my mates car. although he had bigger bore high comp pistons, mad cams jenvey DTH bodies blah blah blah

200bhp is piece of piss.

you can get qed direct to head tbs which work as well as the itbs and cheaper or even r1 carbs.

ive built xe on r1 carbs, wossners, rods, ported head, newman 270 cams and tle ex manifold and systme and made 190bhp@wheels and 224bhp@fly at only 6.5k.

question is whats your budget?

if want to see over 7.5k then go on to solid profile as the hydraulics will pump up as possys did the other day on the rollers and bent an inlet on number 3. you can use pocketed stock early mahles but you wont be able to run a decent race spec cam such as newman race, qed 450v, kent ast 1615 etc

you would be better off going turbo then and get 200 or just over, for what my mate put into his throttle bodied xe he could have had double the power from a let.
