I've tried an upholstry brush but it just spread it around and i saw a tip about using a razor gently. That sort of worked but it wasnt wonderful.

any other tips.

Get one of those rollers with a kind of sticky tape roll on it. My sport seats are a pig for collecting fluff/hairs that even a Dyson won't pick up.
The mrs bought one of those tape rollers and it is bloody magic.
