Seen as though they are all books/films, similar topics etc
I added CoN to make the poll worthwhile

Only ever seen LOTR.
Watched 30mins of the first Harry Potter and couldn't be arsed to carry on.
Chronicles of Narnia looks boring.

I took a girl I know to go see Chronicla of Narnia, literally the biggest waste of 2 hours of my life. Sat through that shite for 2 hours, she moaned when I wouldn't go on a merry go round with her and I didn't even get a kiss. It's actually making me angry just thinking about the film.

My thoughts exactly!
I only saw FotR at cinema, wish I saw the others on the big screen too.
I've seen the first HP film and wasn't that impressed to be honest, the later ones look better.
As for CoN, I just think, pfft its not LotR!!

LOTR is epic. However there has been nothing since Star Wars that has been out that you can totally immerse yourself in a fantasy world in, such as Harry Potter.
I pitty anyone who wont give it a try. I used to say the same. It truely is awesome.

Tried to watch the first LOTR, ended up fast forwarding a lot of it. It truely is a load of fucking shit! Same with Harry Potter, it's just pure

How you can say that about LotR I don't know! My jaw was wide open beginning to end. Harry Potter just felt like LotR for kids to me!

I've thought the same thing about Lord of the Rings since first seeing it after being told how good it is - having never read the books I thought it was utter pish.
The only thing I liked about the three films was the effects in them. It made me think of the people I know that like the films, I get a feeling they think the same things about the effects but get brainwashed into thinking the story's too complex for them to understand so they just say the film's brilliant anyway.
In the words of Chris in Family Guy: 'if the Giant Eagles came to rescue Gandalf in the first movie, and then rescued them at the very end in the third movie...why didn't the Giant Eagles just fly them right to Mordor in the first movie?'

I didn't say Lotr was bad?? It was ePic! But awkwardly paced in some areas.
Sounds cheesy but it's not spell binding like HP.
Each to their own and all that but HP is alot darker in places than alot of more "grown up" films wish they could be. Great actors amazing sets and fx.
