Where abouts in the doors Kris? I'm hoping I can source the power from elsewhere in the door so as not to bother doing anytihng in the car itself (you know I don't like doing this!)
Curious how you did it....
Where did you get the live feed from in the door and how did you wire up LED's and what sort were they?
I think I ca tap into a wire and hook up an LED but don't know about 4 and don't know about resistors etc.
Cheers!

i used 12 v led's so didnt need a resistor, they are 10mm ones.
i took the live feed from the central locking and the earth from the door switch (which controls the interior light once the rear door opens). it works from the earth lead so u need to wire it up to them, it was a bastid thoguh cos its very difficult to actually find the right wire, esspecially on the passengers side.

I've not got MSN mate cos I havent got a hotmail address - do you still need one to have it?
I want it to when the ignitionis on the lights come on - don't care if you can't see them at night - so am thinking a live from anything elctric in the doors - but I don't know how to wire up the LED's (series or parrelel) and can I earth it to anytihng metal?
does it go [live]-[LED]-[LED]-[earth]?
Are 10mm ones bright? I don't want it to glow too much - just subtle like.
What does yours look like?

not sure mate. earth it to a wire, much better than a dodgy earth. mine are bright led's but then i bought ultra bright ones.
if you weant them to make your interior glow then dont get led's, there field of view isnt very big.

I don't fancy neons, I just want to shine some hidden light onto my speaker cone and let peassengers see theres a blue lihgt in the grille.
I'm thinking 4 LED's wil cover it. where did you buy your from? Maplins website doesn't do the sort you mentioned.
Where are they on your doors?

Hi.
I used a blue LED for the door pocket and a red LED behind the speaker grille. Looks like this:
Used a thin wire and a switch so that I can turn it on/off

Sorry to butt in - how do you take a feed from a live wire?

Internal connections just use a soctch lock, or take it out of the fuse pannel with soldering iron.

So my questions now are:
What sort of LED's do I need to get that sort of glow as seen in the first pic in my grille? I'm guessing 10mm Ultrabright ones will do
Do I need any special housing for the LED's or can I just 'stick em on' with electrical tape to the pocket?

The Blue LED I have in the door pocket is 5mm. The red LED behind the speaker grille is only a 3 mm ULTRA bright :-) There is a lot of power in those red LED's!!! I simply soldered a small wire on to the LED and used glue to put it behind the speaker grill. Quite simple!
