I have a single 15" sub. Its a JL Audio W3. Im kicking out 143dB. You should be seeing the same figures as that. Maybe more...???

again, wot model sub, is it a round 15", or an L5 or L7??

These different models all require different amounts of power and have different efficiency ratings and perform differently in varying box types/sizes.

right, you can shove up to 1500 RMS into one of these, just dont whack up the gains and bass boosts on the amp.

Kicker reckon one of the 1200.1 amps to power that sub, but you can use other makes.

In ported boxes, these subs really thump. I hit 146.2dB with two of them, although i only had 600RMS into each one, so should hit 150's realistically.

145 is about what you should hit if amped properly.

right. so im going to get a L7 sub and 1200.1 amp. i was wanting 2 sets of componets up front but dont relly know whats available from kicker any help please
