Dont c point in small conversions, would be cheaper to sell car and buy 1 with 1.4/1.6 already in.

16vmarc. the reason a lot of people tend to do engine conversions is simple. You buy a cheap small car, u put a bodykit on it, ice it up do whateva u want with looks and sound, on cheap insurance, u then reach an age where its cheaper to insure a bigger engine AND everything else is sorted on the car so u put a bigger engine in to produce the horses, to finish the car off

the money that u could spend doin the small conversion couldnt u just increase the performance. i know its only a 1.2 but surely thers somat u can do. u already stripped it out so that will help. i agree with wot sethion says but also everyone else sayin wots the point. at the end of the day though its ure car and so its ure choice

I know where u are coming from, same boat myself. Ideally minimum conversion is 1.6. A 1.4 u will regret and maybe even the 1.6? I think patrick had a 1.6 conversion and wished he had gone straight for the 2.0
