Can anyone shed any light on these issues?

1. The traction control light wont go off. All abs sensors are fine. code says mechanical steering angle (or something like that)

2. The brake pedal wont pump up, when the brakes are pressed the pedal is going right to the floor before it bites.

I have spent alot trying to fix these problems and just want some help.

Without knowing, first one sounds like the tracking needs done. Don't know what you mean by the second one, have you checked the fluid level?

Tracking won't be related to the first one.

Have you replaced the steering angle sensor?

Was just about to say that Joe, steering angle sensor is a very common one, surely anybody who can read the code off must know about that.

Steering angles need calibrating for the first one, and check for a bleed nipple on the master cylinder for the second problem most golf's have them there

Yeah they have helped me out in the past too. but to come on a Corsa forum and get help so quickly compared to a Golf website is brilliant.

It has rekindled my spark with CS <3
