Selling the ctr. with me having this new job its just not getting used at all. had the whole rear end painted and the front is going in early january (no more fade or chips). by that point the car will be imaculate, have 2 months tax and a 9 months mot. the car has a full stainless dc sports catback and a aem cai fitted. only thing i can think it needs is a wheels refurb.. was thinking of putting it up early jan, not worth it in this weather and christmas. £5200 with a with to getting as close to 5k as possible?

Am i right in thinking yours is a pre-facelift??

Whats the mileage??

Red pre-face EP3's seems to be up for 4-4.5k the now and dropping.

Yea pre face 76k. The only ones that go for less seem to be cat c or dogs tbh. I think the condition its in 5k is achievable. It really looks brand new body and interior wise

Have a look on PH,you will be surprised.Seen what looks like a decent non write-offs go for a shade over 4k.

my friend sold his low milage 2005 ctr for 3,800. They have plunged in value.

Thats crazy.

Even 2004 face-lift models with low to average miles are selling for around 5-6k.

Why did he let it go so cheap??

Must have been desperate tbh as he probably could have got 4.5k as a quick sale.Maybe even 5k if everything was well.

Yeah come next year they will be a mega bargain.

Ive seen loads sell for more than those. Just because they look ok in pics doesnt mean they are, could have the syncro or steering rack probs.... Mine has neither

But then again they might not either.

All you would need to do is ask of any known problems.

They are dropping like flies.

The only people that think they are worth 1-2k more than the plenty others that are selling,are the owners.

Maybe so..... Every one said my cupra was only worth 3 max..... Proved them wrong. Its worth 4.5 all day long ffs even we buy any car offered me 3.5k. Im in no rush to sell. If its not going to go for what its worth i will keep it
