corsaredtop123 you ever owned one?

Ive got one, 60k of sheer death and hg is still fine.

Its defo a zr, can tell by the mouldings on the door.

Ive driven one, my 1.6 sport used to piss all over it, the seats are horribly uncomfortable and the interiors are awful.

I love rovers. definately under estimated. all these lads that go "hgf" are getting it off word of mouth. if driven and looked after properly (oil and water checked) etc they are fine.Ive had a few and all been ok

From experience the K series engines are quite powerful for their size but the HG are unreliable.
I had to do my mates HG on his Rover 200 twice in 2 years.

I assumed it was all internet bollocks until my mate kept calling up each year for his annual HG replacement.

My grandad has a zr, nightmare car tbh. Hg went last year, went to start it up the other day waterpump froze and threw the cambelt off....

I worked for an engine reconditioners a few years ago and the k-series engines kept us in business, crap engines
