Has anyone here actually clocked what their XBox uses whilst gaming online. Had a scout abot the net but most are guesses.
Any help apreciated

I hope it's not because you're considering using a dongle, as it won't work. I know it could be because your broadband is capped however.
I doubt anyone could give you a figure as they'd only be guessing anyway. Lots of different factors will play in how much data is used, Game, if you're host, etc, etc.

I have 40GB limit on Talk Talk, I dont do torrents or anything like that, probably download 100 music tracks a month max, probably 100 videos on Youtube  and browsing on laptops / phones and then Xbox live, probably 20 hours a week or something and last 3 months ive used 18-22GB.
Contrast this to some people who use that in a few days

That includes sister and mother raping the connection with faceache
Maybe that's not right then, just checked the hub and in 2 days it's racked up a gb 
Meh mines unlimited anyway

Oh that isn't XBOX Live usage, that's everything (monthly / days).
You won't go over your cap just playing XBL and browsing the internet.

Over November i used about 4 gig and i was hammering CoD for a fair few hours most nights.
That includes a bit of browsing and a bit of P2P.

Should be fine, if not you can always up your package anyway (after a few consecutive months of going over 10GB they'll write to you)
