Can I buy it in a spray can off the shelf, or would a bodyshop have to make it up for me?

Do you know paint code?

Cheers guys.

Exact colour match isn't an issue as its for a remote control sailing boat hull.

Not mine. My Dad's. He builds and races them.

The base colour you just put down as normall and then you need to do spray outs with varying amount of coats on each card, I think they recommend 10 as a set amount of cards to do but I genrally do 5. Starting with 2 coats then 3,4,5,6 and lacquer them all.

Just takes a bit of time. It also depends how u spray aswell as you may spray heavy or light.

There is a few just standard cars coming in 3 stage which is annoying. Did a new fiesta and a 308 recentlyand they looked just a red pearl but annoyingly were 3 stage!

Should be fairly simple on an R/C boat hull though - nice easy shape

It's a great colour. My dad wanted a metalflake yellow, but you can't get metalflake in spray cans so I suggested this and he likes it.

Some pics below. They don't capture the pearl too well but my Dad says it looks the dogs danglies in the flesh, especially in the sun.

This is a very small one btw. He's another in which the rig is 1metre high alone.
