Where abouts is the oil pressure switch located on an x14xe, need to change mine, and also i want to run oil pressure gauge in the car, will i need a twin sender or will a standard work fine, if so where do i get one from?

Your need a twin sensor yes, Standard sensor is just a switch. Twin sensor can be got in a scrap yard from a cav/calibra, or if your lucky enough to find one, Nova SR/GTE/GSI. Or new on ebay. You know what one looks like?
Its located at the back corner as seen in this pic.

ahh right, guess the gauge wire goes off the gold threaded bit on the left and then normal pressure light wire off the plug?

hi mate got my corsa running after fitting a 1200cc nova 8v starter motor i ended up stripping top end out ie injector rail inlet manifold all vacuum pipes etc rebuilt it the way it (should) be and it fired up but running on 3 cylinders and the coil you give me is the suspect so i will be re-fitting my old one tomorrow and securing all clips and plugs vac pipes and regs and see wat happens.....

ahhh right, glad to hear it's workin mate, sorry to hear coil pack didnt work been sat in my room for nearly a year but was workin when i took it off mine

i thought it was knackerd, took it off put a new one on and was still the same, but couldnt be arsed swapping back again turned out to be a spark plug gap was closed on mine

do me a favour mate look under your bonnet and tell me witch HT lead goes to which spark plug and which hole on the coil and pulling my hair out here

1 sec 
Top one on coil goes furthest left,
next one down goes furthest right,
3rd down goes to 2nd from left, then obviously last one goes in 3rd cylinder

its on mine now but when i looked number and 2 wer back to front anyway but when i put them the right it fired up on one then cut out and i shit me self lol but then tried it again and it fired up sweet as a nut so god knows lol

Just ordered one of these sensors off ebay £45 inc postage, our suppliers couldnt find one, dont think he understood what i needed so just gave up found it on ebay and bought it, hopefully that will stop the bloody oil light from coming on! and then i can run my guage aswell
