Me and my flat mate were on about getting the Haynes manual 'build an off road buggy for £100'

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Build-Your-Own-Off-road-Buggy/dp/1859606423/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1292624290&sr=1-1

Has anyone done this or something similar?

What engine would be best to use?

I have a full workshop I could use. We would take it one step further and make it collapse-able so it can go in the back of a car

Those books seem to like the phrase 'you can get this for free from your local scrap yard' a bit too much.

well we put a 125cc in it at first but then put a zx6r in it, its an animal tbh. we made an a-frame to lift the front wheels of the ground so it can be towed.
