Before i go ahead and get another copy is there anything better/easy to use to to design logos and banners?

Photoshop is the best ive used by far, and im pretty sure its the widely used programme.
As with the magento, i have an ace guy who supplies images/logos at VERY good prices, and is very quick

Can't really go wrong with photoshop.
Don't really see many people using Coral anymore.

Best thing to use for logo design, although harder to get to grips with than Photoshop.

This! Ideally you want to do logos in vector format for scaling and Illustrator is a lot better than PS for this. It might be a bit of a learning curve, but i got the hang of it within half a day. If you're buying it then download a demo first to try it out.

I wanted to say Illustrator too! You don't design logos in Photoshop. Photoshop is for photos, it's in the name.
