Ok ill have about £1000 to spend when my next installment of my student load comes through, so im gonna buy a kit for my car. As its a 5 door im pretty limited by the type of sideskirts i can have. I think you can get panique 5 door skirts.
So i need front and rear bumpers that:
A) Are not too low as i have some nasty speedbumps at my Uni (my cars -40mm on 17's and i need a decent amount of clearance on the bumpers)
B)Fit the 5 door without too much filling, cutting etc
Deffo dont want combat 1, and i think the predator front that i really liked is gonna be too low. I like the carzone bumpers and they dont look too low in the pic in the PVD catalogue but i havent seem any other pics apart from that one.
Think the combat2 might be too low also:/
Spoliers im limited by the 5 door again, the PI one for the 5 door is ok, aint seen any others apart from some aluminium universal street style ones, which wouldnt suit the car in my opinion. If anyone knos of other 5 door spoliers id appreciate the input.
Cheers.

I debolted rear arches thats all, lowered -40mm on apex springs (which i r eality lowere about 30mm)
I can have 2 people in the back, itll rub on big bumps though at speed.
No rubbing with 1 rear passenger. If i cut up the metal arch at the rear i should be able to take more rear passengers.
Looks good aswell
overrevs.co.uk any good? service/delivery etc?

If you want more people in the back just do more to the arches, ive only debolted the rear. Get a bodyshop to trim the rear arches up a bit.
And the sterring is fine , i have power steering though. Its slower when u are trying to steer hard when you are only slightly moving. But not too noticeable.
Dare v2's are split 5 spoke, www.daremotorsport.co.uk i think is their website.

Yeah KrisTD did quite a bit, probably because his 40mm springs actually lowered 40mm, unlike the Apex ones.
I suppose every cars gonna be slightly different though, im just telling from experience on mine.

how much do u think a body shop will charge to cut up the metal.
also u know when u cut up the metal arch do u have to cut the plastci arch too. if so dont u lose all the shape etc and looks uneven

Not sure how much to be honest.
The wheels wont rub on the plastic arch, they will rub on the arch bolts which you can remove, and the metal arch under the plastic arch, if you cut that u shouldnt have a problem.
The plastic arch can be bonded back on to whats left of the metal arch
Think thats what KrisTD did and he added bumpstops and he could have a full car without rubbing.
Better to ask him, he knows more than me.

Kris put bumpstops in the origional shocks. was a really stiff ride as there was no travel in the shocks. its lowered 60mm now with different shocks and rubs with two people on a slightly bumpy road.

yeah i gotta extend my rear bumpstops cos i cut em a bit short the other day on a mission to make the ride better.
mine is lowered 60mm, u will find that it rubs on the inner arch more than the outer metal arch. just look at your rear tyres, if they look shreaded then its the metal arch, if they look melted then its the inner arch which mine is. didnt stick my origanal archs back on cos i cut away enough for the bubble archs. should be fine, just need too add another 10-15 mm to my bumpstops.
as for spoilers irmscher, pi, inac, steinmetz, mattig, etc.. make em, infact there is loads for 5 doors, just search the net.
my front bumper doesnt hit the ground with my current setup atall. not even on speed humps.

WHAT CAN U DO TO THE ARCH TO STOP T RUBBING ON THE INNER ARCH, I DONT REALLY WANT BUMPSTOPS
I DONT MIND ABOUT CUTING THE METAL ARCH
I MAY BE GETTING 17'S OR 16'S, I ALREADY HAVE MY APEX 40,MM SUSPENSION KIT,

you cant do anything about the inner arch. unless you want to see the wheel from the inside of the car?
