Got a pdf I want transferred onto word document but I can't export it or even copy and paste as its secured and I don't have the password, anyone got any ideas how I can do it?

Can you print it? I've got round this in the past by printing it as a PDF, then obviously that'll give you an unlocked version. Not sure if it'll still translate to word after doing that tho.

You can't do it I tried and tried when completing my masters degree. Apparently people screen shot the pages and print them.

I would have gone with screenshot and OCR, seems quite pointless protecting the PDFs now!

Print screen, save as TIF and use Microsoft Office Document Scanning for OCR (pretty decent considering it comes with Office)

True, but there is also a security risk with using sites like that - ie: they might be storing the files....

I guess so, but TBH I think most people would just use it for PDFs obtained from somewhere else online/that doesn't have any personally identifiable information etc.

There was a program I used to use that did the same in Windows but I forgot what it was called - sorry
