But it shows fine when its on cd player?! It isnt a standard cd player so could it be wiring from that??

Iirc it wont show up if you have an aftermarket stereo fitted

You can cut one of the wires and it'll show all the time but I'm not clear which one, grey with an orange tracer rings a bell but don't hold me to that.

yeah theres a wire you need to cut, works fine after that

bottom row of the pins on the back of the clock second from the left. Just remove it/snap it.

I did it yesterday and it works fine and shows up all the time now

When i got my car it didnt show the date but once i put my pioneer stereo in the date shows all the time lol weird
