Don't get Turtle Beach.
We had so many returns when I worked at Gamestation. Mainly its the mouth piece that fails. Then lack of sound in the ear phones themselves.

The shiz are the X41 iirc, but you won't get them for £30

Marc, on the scale of units sold, the fact you've had a few returned at Gamestation doesn't mean much. Everything has failures, doesn't matter what it is, that's what a warranty is for.

The Reevoo, GAME, and Amazon reviews are all excellent too.

Don't get the xlc's. There's no game audio.. Just chat.
My wee bro has the x11s and they seem decent for the money.
He's had his and ive had my px21s for the ps3 for just over a year and theyve been cracking tbh

True. Based on my experience it would put me off.

I had a pair of X1's which were fantastic. I then managed to get ahold of a cheap pair of x4s, which were just as good (wireless so it ate batteries). Ended up breaking the x4s when I stood on them .

had the model before and they were brilliant, was going to get some Turtle Beach ones but opted against it in the end.

Are those just for PC gaming I presume? I stand corrected on the XLCs btw.. Don't know where I read they had no game audio. Just might be a pain not being able to control each volume on the headset themselves.

Think it's got an adaptor for xbox at the bottom of the page you linked?

I assumed it wasn't at first because nobody else had mentioned it
I still fancy a pair of some sorts. Thing is, I typically want the most expensive X41's but there's not a chance I'm spending that on headphones.

i have young children so buying a pair of £40 headphones just aint gonna happen as they will break em hence why i went for xlcs i just adjust the volumes in game i only play a few games so doing that once for each was not a problem

You can definately tell the difference between cheap and expensive headphones brett, it's worth investing in a decent pair. The difference to normal speakers is unreal, you can hear things you never thought was in the game.
