Well tbf all flights from and to NYC were cancelled and people were stuck in underground trains. Just doesn't get the same coverage as our weather.

The difference is there are states in the USA bigger than the UK so in the UK the bad weather can affect the entire country which totally screws us..

TBH if the uk invested in more snow tackling shit, it would cost millions more every year which we don't have, so I don't see us getting better for a long time.

The UK can't cope, cos we aren't used to getting snow, the US and most european countries are used to getting snow every winter so have procedures when it does happen.
