Break the corsa
all it does is depresses me, and costs me money...
Im past my limit, and im a patient person....
So far been through
1x engine, alot of work different rods, pistons cut outs, head ported and polished - cam timing out (my thought) dropped valve destroyed engine
1 x engine standard, worked fine but slow - sold
1x engine, different rods, ported and polished another head......fuel pump failure scored bores/pistons
1x gearset - stripped 2nd gear (own fault)
Recent engine - bottom end rebuild - oil light came on under cournering - low oil pressure requires a new oil pump and bearings...
bought a straight cut gearset and trans x diff, after stripping it found the input shaft is bent
Corsa has been broken for over a month, only just took the engine out. and i have no energy to go buy a new oil at £150 and rebuild it.....
is it even worth it, its just a crappy corsa
Z18XE 196bhp/149lbft

Certainly sounds like a money pit. Could you not just build one thats not quite so tuned and then just enjoy it?

Looks awesome. Surely wont be worth much at all as it is.
Put a z18xe back in, then simple mods and sell it?
