Are you saying 50 miles cost you £10?

£10 / 125.9p = 7.94 litres.

7.94 * 0.22 = 1.75 gallons.

50 / 1.75 = 28.57 mpg.

I got better in my 1.6 than I did in my 1.2 8v - about 5 mpg better.

Although now I've got the dirty derv, an average tank is about 400 miles to 40 litres - about 45.3 mpg.
