Never had any dealings with 18s and thinking in a set for the ibiza but dont know if they would be too big and look odd? Isnt much size difference from a golf really and they pull iff 18's well and it would be bbs ch reps so not like an open spoke wheel.

According to people on seat-cupra you need some arch work but dont see why like as you say there seems to be plenty of room

Cant see why, they come with 17's as standard on the fr and its correct offset. Someone posted a black ibiza on bbs's and said it needed work but it wasnt et35 and was 9.5 i think, definately wasnt 8's anyway

The only person that has done 18's well is Rash (black cupra on BBS CH's), he did ALOT of arch work to make it work
17's are fine.
Golfs are bigger, have bigger arches, so can accommodate 18's and 19's much easier

Thats the one I saw. His were 8.5 wide and et30, would 8 wide and et35 be better obviously?
Was only comparing golfs for looks wise, fitment would obviously be different

Found it

In my area too, feel a bit cheeky emailing and asking if they had problems fitting

The guy selling the car on PH isn't the original owner, the guy that put the BBS CH's on had it a few years ago (07 or 08 i think), the car has changed hands a few times

After actually owning one and not being part of internet speculation, I don't see with the right tyres that 18s would be a problem. My 17s fitted with absolutely no problems, didn;t touch the arch or suspension. No problem

Found a useful thread on Seat Cupra net and seems I wont have bother fitting them so hopefully they wont look too out of place either
This sums the thread up really :
I really don't know why you lot are against 18's ? ? ! !
they DONT require arch work...... mine is lowerd on coilovers and very very rarely has bother !
mine are 8" wide not 8.5" and have 215 tyres on......
