Evening all, has anyone had experience with rotex superchargers?
The old man is thinking of having them supercharge the viper to around 680bhp.
Heard anything good/bad?

Good chargers,
Friend had a charged saxo,
Loved the was it was still revvy with it on, as the eaton style chargers are usually all mid range, where as the rotrex still feels like an n/a car just a lot quicker lol.

The Rotrex chargers are used for big power civics when the Jackson charger is taken to the limit.
Not heard a bad thing about them yet tbh.

Seems not many Viper owners in UK or US use the Rotrex system (dunno why)
I know as standard Rotrex is used on Koenigsegg's
Also Paxton chargers are used quite a lot on GEN3 Vipers

I always thought Rotrex 'chargers were more popular on small displacement engines?

you would want to run 2 rotrex chargers on that, two c38 units would be ideal. Similar setups have been done on the v8 and v10 m5's we have done similar work on f150's here including the mapping on std management, fitting the chargers etc wouldnt be a problem, finding someone to map it would be the hard part, not many SCT dealers left in the UK, we still use the SCT stuff regularly, not done a viper yet, but done a few trucks with the same engine
