Grandads just popped round with it wondering where he can get one from and i'm having trouble thinking of a name to type into Google.
It plugs into your cig lighter with a 9v battery on the end so you can disconnect your battery and not worry about losing your radio code or buggering up the alarm etc.
Anybody know where to get hold of one as my grandads looking to purchase one.
And it's not from Halfrauds, just the battery is.
Ta.

I'd start at your local motorfactors and go from there tbh.

They only ship inside the US and the ones on eBay that ship outside want like $20 postage on a $7 gadget

My dad's got one that's the other way round, two croc clips connected to a cig lighter socket. Handy as fuck.

Don't some cigarette lighter sockets only come on with the ignition? In which case, you'd have to remember to keep the ignition turned on... but wouldn't that then flatten the little 9v battery in no time?

yes however you are not taking power from the socket, you are running a small current through which is enough to keep all the presets etc.will work regardless.

Wicked. Im guessing it would be safer to buy a cig lighter plug with a built in fuse?
