Basically been doing a lot of motorway miles today anyway i pulled up to my house and the oil light came on. Anyway could see smoke coming out of the engine bay and i opened the engine bay and there is oil everywhere. Came out of the front of the engine. No odea what it is wrong atm.

could just be rocker cover gasket and its just leaked onto the exhaust manifold.

LOL ^^. i'd say check rocker cover gasket too. whens the last time you checked/topped up oil

i would say hole or crack in the block personally, oil light coming on leads to lack of oil pressure.

i cant see that much leaking out the rocker cover

This makes more sense. Hole in the block was the first thing that came to my mind as well!
My rocker was constantly leaking and loosing hardly any oil

Headgasket.

Causing pressure in the oilways thus blowing the dipstick out.

If when you say "oil light" you mean the red oil pressure light of doom then I'd say its probably fuckered

As soon as i pulled up it came on. It had been leaking oil for approximately 15 metres.

Wouldnt get one from vauxhall, I had to buy one for my 12v (after 170k ), Didn't cost fuck all from the local motorfactors.
