Basically been doing a lot of motorway miles today anyway i pulled up to my house and the oil light came on. Anyway could see smoke coming out of the engine bay and i opened the engine bay and there is oil everywhere. Came out of the front of the engine. No odea what it is wrong atm.

i would say hole or crack in the block personally, oil light coming on leads to lack of oil pressure.
i cant see that much leaking out the rocker cover

This makes more sense. Hole in the block was the first thing that came to my mind as well!
My rocker was constantly leaking and loosing hardly any oil

Headgasket.
Causing pressure in the oilways thus blowing the dipstick out.
Happened to my old 1400 8valver
