How are we all doing with this?

Have many of us been really badly affected yet?

Perhaps some of us want to sell up and buy something more economical?

Discuss.

same as usual.

cost me 46 quid to fill up the puma last week, compared to 40 quid. 6 quid a week is nothing really.

pissed off it's so high but i need it so i'll keep buying it.

Since I've had mine re-mapped I'm always using Super unleaded so 130.9 seems the minimum I'm paying at the mo

Ben - how many miles do you get to that full tank in the puma then?

Ash - i rmemeber when i had a CTR. i used to get 140 miles to £20 when driving easy, which i thought was fantastic for a 200bhp hot hatch. but im guessing that was when petrol was £1 a litre.....

mike - buy a diesel for the summer? lol

between 220-300 depending how i drive it

usually get 220 until the light comes on, then another 25-30 miles till empty.

i've done 155 miles and i've got just over a 1/4 tank left, pretty shit really.

Filled both mine up the other day - BMW was £80 and the Golf was £65; sold the golf Wednesday night with a full tank and used the BMW yesterday with work and used it all

So am getting a diesel to try and cut the costs of it at the moment!

Used to cost me £34 a week when I got the car (about 2 years ago) for a full tank

Filled up yesterday and it was £47. Only £13 difference.....

Nearly £700 extra per year

Not driving loads at the mo, will no doubt cost a lot in summer, but was my choice of car so can't really moan

Better off having juicey cars now as petrol is only going to get more and more expensive in the future.

yeah it would be good if i drove like a saint, as i'd get 300 miles then

i just thought i'd get about 40mpg from the puma but my driving style denotes me not getting much over 30mpg, which is pretty poo for car much slower than clio 182s

whilst its ridiculous; I'm looking at about £6 a fill over this time last year so in reality; its about £5 a week real cost to me. Thats doing 400-500miles per week.

I've got a car doing 10-15mpg more than the car I was driving this time last year and I had a bit of a payrise so I'm not really seeing anything in terms of feeling the pinch

you wouldnt get 40mpg from a clio 182 tho wud you?

its difficult enough getting 40mpg average in a diesel, never mind a petrol. but i live in yorkshire. and there are lots of hills here. it really does screw with your average figures

fro - thought about LPG conversion? lol i cant imagine your 330 does many mpg.

Yea that's pretty damn good tbh... I used to get 60 miles to £10 when I first got the CTR.. the other day I got 60 miles to £20

Like Live Lee, I should be getting a pay rise next month although with the increase in everything I doubt I'll even notice it

Naa not really thought about it as there isn't much room in the boot as it is so would have to drop the spare wheel for a tank which is a no go as i usually get puntures etc

Getting about 28mpg combined atm. So is livable considering engine size/weight/auto
