Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the project thread of.... The Runaround.
I payed £250 for this fine peice of engineering from our very own boss, Ian.
The vehicle came with 5 months tax, no MOT but was mechanically sound-ish.
The main reason for the car was something cheap to drive, not really be scared of leaving it anywhere and hopefully for the missus to learn in this year.
Now on to the car.
She's a 1998, 1.0 12volt with 71k on the clock.
Main/only problems with it are; somebody bent the door back to try and break it, scratched bonnet which is quite bad and rust on the boot. All the arches and underneath are solid.
I will also be keeping a tally on how much this beauty owes me! Heres a couple of pictures of when i first got her.
Heres how she tallys up so far:
Car - £250
Handbrake cable - £19.99
Ball joint - £8
CV boot - £10
MOT - £25
Total - £312.99

Plans for her are as follows:
New speakers all round as most of them are blown.

Maybe alloys, quite like the wheel trims 
New boot
New drivers door
New bonnet
Maybe spray bumper tops and archs black
