If we're counting tyres then mine are £400 so easily the £600 - £1000 mark. Just through oil changes etc, nothing has actually gone wrong with the car just a noisy rear arb droplink

This year I have had a few problems with the Corsa and spent £250. But hopefully next year I will have less problems and I will start doing the servicing and maintenance myself.

i had 6 tyres put on the focus in 15k miles (bearing in mind the car was new so had brand new tyres on when bought) which were 100 quid each, 2 on the puma and 2 on the corsa.

In 3 years the Astra has had the following

2 MOT's £70
2 tyres £70
2 brake pipes (they fixed the wrong one so did the knackered one for free, winner) £50
3 oil changes £90
2 air filters £20
Pair front brakes and pads £90
Clutching at straws here
Few headlight bulbs, rear lights, indicator £20
New windowiper today for MOT £6
Pair of front springs on monday £160
Oil change in Feb some time £25
I think its been washed by the IMO about 6 times so £18

The exhaust (backbox and middle pipe) has been an advisory on the last 2 MOT's, I refuse to replace it until it falls off But considering a standard GM pipe and backbox for this car is £200 fitted you can see why, surely I could get some aftermarket thing for less than that

Total cost roughly £620 over 3 years / 20000 miles This car is awesome
