A girl i've been seeing is a Zumba dance instructor and she needed a picture for the website and posters so I offered my services.
My equipment was nothing more than some industrial spotlights, a fan and my bedroom wall and if i'm honest i'm really happy with how they turned out.
This is my favourite.

Lighting looks good, but in the first the expression on her face looks odd.
Would like the second if her hair wasn't over her eye.
The first shot looks seriously airbrushed as well.

Yeah, the pics are airbrushed a little. She's an 18 yr old girl who's gonna be on an A1 size poster. Of course she wanted to look as good as possible.
Here's the poster I did for her...
I know the selection around her hair isn't the neatest, but there is a reason for that.
She was originally against a white background, but just before she went into town to get them printed she decided she wanted a little more colour, so I had to add a background quickly.
She's over the moon with them, so if she's happy, i'm happy.

I think your last image with the pink tinge was best. The one you have used, was that using the on camera flash? Don't think the lighting is all that

Yeah. It was lit with my flash. Since I had my lights behind her on the wall that was the only option I had.
The pink tinge one was also lit with the flash.
