Basically I wan't to under seal my wheel arches, and the whole underside of my corsa. Now I've never done this before and just wanted to know from the people that have is it just a case of using a wire brush to get all the rubbish off then painting hammerite over it?

Also is Hammerite a product for this that you'd recommend? I read on another forum that it wouldn't flake or peel off.

id wait till summer now tbh, when all the salt on the underside will have been washed off and the car will be dry on the underside.

just make sure loose bits of old sealant are pulled off and that its dry and half clean and it will be fine

I did mine a while back. Going to see about topping it up in summer if it needs it.
I used some auto seal stuff dad had in the cupboard - probably yonks old. Was thick old stuff, applied with a brush
