Put that engine in over this weekend was a 1.2 8v before and is quite abit of difference between the 2.

Id recomend a 1.6 if you can afford the extra.
Ive only gone for a 1.4 because the engine was free lol.

ill see what happens nearer the time haha i would like a 1.6 but i reckon the insurance will be a killer only time will tell tho

Its a cai or cold air intake. Puts the filter behond the bumper out of the hot engine bay air

Exactly what john said, just means the filter is out of the engine bay sp less or no heatsoak.

For some reason this engine seems to rev REALLY hard for a standard 1.4 and induction noise is louder than any smallblock xe ive heard, which is good for me.

I did the same as this on my x16xe put a pipe down to behind the fog light (gsi bumper) and if anythin It felt like it lost power but gained a lot of noise
