End of an era for me really  did so much with this car and met some awesome peeps while doing it but a few months ago after a few hours of driving around in her parked her up and felt that i had really had enough and just didnt have the same pasion driving it even with a load of new goodies sitting ready to fit  ... after selling old C4RSA and really not enjoying seeing someone else driving it lol the only way was to split C5RSA so at the weekend we hit it and started to strip it to bits with tons still to do this weekend ! making a vid of it getting stripped and will speed it up super fast just as a momento. Time to make a new C5RSA 
Its been fucking good tho through all i have done to it over the past 4 years i wouldnt change anything

Before i stripped it me and caroline went to vauxhall and ordered a brand new corsa 1.2 limited edition like below collect it on friday getting rid of the run around rover 25 and keeping it to 3 cars... cant wait to mod it loads to do

I spent the weekend loading my black shell up with scrap, looking so sorry for itself and never really felt anything, I saw these pics of yours and it feels sad knowing such a legend of a car is going. All good things come to an end though.
IMO I think you should stick to your guns about the shell. I know it's 'just a shell' once it's at that point but I don't think there's many people that could do it justice like you did and as with C4, if you see it about, even if it's being looked after, you'll still find fault with it, you've had it too long and done too much with it. It's better to keep the memories than for someone else to ruin them.
Edit: I have high expectations for the new one too but I'm sure you won't disappoint
