Cant you learn to weld with other things??Time you buy the quarter,do all the work etc and get it painted and what not,as said, you could have just bought another Corsa and saved a bit of cash/time.

Do you need to learn to weld for a job or just a hobby??Doing a rear quarter as a beginner is pretty much jumping in at the deep end.

Before you know it,the cash you got for the Civic will all have been spunked on the Corsa.

I wouldn't jump straight in at quarter panel fitting

Just start off with doing little bits like filling the rear wiper hole, cutting and rust and replacing.

Slam panel replacment is an easy one to start with.

You need to know what your doing and have a few tools to do a quarter.

I did panel beating as a job a few years ago and did quite a few quarters, wounldn't consider doing one myself now.
