Ive just borrowed the game of a mate and
everytime i try to connect to any game on any
map it just says cannot connect to ea online!
Cod connects fine straight away
Any ideas?

Which console? If its 360 Ill nip into my playroom and try it on mine

People have been having similar problems with FIFA11, which is also EA.

you need the VIP code. then download all the maps.
it's in the store on the game

at the main menu of game you shuold have scrolling text along bottom of screen telling you about it.
there is an "in-game" store they call it, which is on the main menu, or you could go through the marketplace on xbox live and search for battlefield game
