Going up the motorway and noticed a bit of smoke so pulled over to find oil everywhere in the engine bay, leaking through the bumpers basically all over the front of my car. thought it was my oil pressure switch but when it went before there was hardly any oil leaking.

what could it be?

daft question but is oil filler cap on? Oil filter tight? Check ovious first

yeah all tight mate the whole engine load of oil is gone

Clean all oil off re fill ur oil to correct level and start it up then see were it's leaking.

whats the best way to clean it? pressure washer will that be okay?

Cover any electrical parts like coil etc, Spray some degreaser on the area to clean and leave for 5-10 mins then blast off with a pressure washer.

You could use traffic film remover if the degreaser isn't strong enough.

ive checked everything, just seems to have come from nowhere.

I was thinking pump, there was a whining noise that I noticed down the side of the engine, do you think that could be it

When was the whining noise?
Whining could have been anything like the belt when full of oil etc?

It could possibly be the oil pressure switch cuz there quite common on corsa's. Mine has gone twice now.. First time, oil leak wernt so bad but the second time I had same symptoms as you mate
