Can you do this? Basically ive moved house, my old property has a bt phone line, i rang virgin media about their internet, tv, and phone for my new property, but the woman said it is now against the law to switch landline number and cant keep the same number? :s

Is this right? Im sure this was allowed?

If you've moved area codes you can't as far as I know, other than that I'm sure its not 'illegal'

should be able to but i think its more the fact you the line in the other property has to be the same as the one your moving from i.e. virgin to virgin line
