Mate I have nothing against your boys. I pray that none of them gets killed or hurt. The main issue here is that war is NOT the way to solve differences between nations.

I dont expect you to start protesting against the war because that would make you feel that you betray your countrys soldiers.

I just want you to keep in mind that when leaders declare wars on nations or rejimes or whatever one should not always follow their opinions like they found the perfect solution to every problem. Wars get people killed and almost never solve problems. In fact they create bigger ones.

Wars will always happen in this world, regardless of whether people are for or against it. In my own personal opinion, I am for this war, as Saddam needs to be removed from power.

You are talking about a man that used chemical/biological weapons against HIS OWN PEOPLE. You can't reason with a man like this, he is insane, no amount of "talks" or "weapons inspections" would sort things out, he is basically a murderer, and the sooner the Coalition Forces get rid of him and his regime, the better! Let's face it, he is to Iraq what Adolf Hilter was to Germany.

Only difference sam is that the people of germany loved hiter for bringing wealth and prosperity back to germany. iraqi's hate saddam.

Corsajunkie "The main issue here is that war is NOT the way to solve differences between nations." Whats that supposed to mean? There are NO differences between nations here, its just the free world wanting to remove an utterly evil bastard from his 30 years of reign over his people. Finally there is light at the end of the tunnel for iraqi's. Anyway, you dont have to worry about terrorism on a scale similar to the WTC's, we do.

now: iraq
next step: n korea

nobody should be praising war and what it brings and involves, cos its not big or clever. unfortunately, its the only way to solve things in these troubled times that we live in. and most people who are protesting against war are protesting against the fact the inccocent people will die, but they dont seem to think about the 2 million (est) people saddam and his regime have gassed over the past 12 years

if bush snr hadnt been such a pussy, then this wouldve been finished back in the first gulf war

AND no matter what your views on war, you should back our troops 110%

You cant compare Saddam and Hitler there miles apart in many ways, sad to say but Hitler was one of the greatest leaders in the world, think of the amount of people he had supporting him and his mad ideas, now thats power. Saddam doesnt have power he just uses scare tactics to get people to follow him.

I dont think n e other country will back Saddam because they know they will get the same treatment as the iraqis are getting now.
