You want a BFO cone from PVD. ITs the loudest mother of a filter! What engine code is yours? http://www.pvdnet.co.uk/airfilters/pvd.asp

Won't be able to get a BFO then..

I'm currently debating whether or not to get a K&N or a Pipercross, I've already got a K&N 57i on my car but its too small and looks pants so am getting an Escort Cossie induction kit, just thinking whether to get a K&N or Pipercross one. Prefer the booming sounds of the Pipercross but prefer the looks of the K&N

For the loudest induction roar, drive around with no airbox! Might fuck your engine up in the process though!

Ide say u cant compare the K&N and the Pipercross coz there 2 completly different sounds, K&N is a loud low roar, Pipercros seems to be more of a rally car sound to it.

The K&N I had on my old Corsa was shit, the neck split on it after a couple of months, got a PiperX one after that, MUCH better quality, the cone itself was bigger, and the engine seemed more responsive.

The PiperX one looks better IMHO and should be louder.

But really, you don't want a noisy car - you want power.
