I have Mesrine dvd box set. First one is vastly superior. Instant classics.

I'm not so sure Marc. I preferred it I think, but the second one was still great

I honestly thought it was a bodysuit until I saw him with no shirt on. Vincent Cassel is a fucking legend.

Watched a few films myself this week -
Karate Kid remake - piss poor, Jacky Chan tried to save it - but failed.
Rocky 6 - Should be shit, but like all the rocky films I fucking loved it
Mr Nice - No where near as good as the book, but watchable
Inglorious Bastards - utter shit, first scene is great, from there on in all I could hear was the sound of Tarentino disapearing up his own arse.
Kick Ass - great film
The Hurt Locker - pretty decent, not amazing though.

Also watched 'Grizzly Man' this week which I kept seeing in all the best films of the decade lists.
Its on youtube now - completely fucked up but really interesting.
Pretty famous guy in America goes to live with wild grizzly bears in alaska - dont have to be a genius to work out what happens after pushing his luck for 13 years .... the videos he has left behind are pretty epic though.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFyaiqDXD2U
Love someone else to watch this and tell me what they think -- whole thing is fucking bizaar, even the bloke making this documentary seems very strange, as do all of 'grizzly mans' friends and relatives - proper weirded me out this one - well worth watching though

Inglorious bastards is fantastic. The opening 5mins include some of the best visual directing and dialogue I have seen in years!
