Going to change a few bits on my engine when I take it out, a minor rebuild , not going to the extent of piston rings and so on,
So far I've got,
Sump gasket
Rocker cover gasket
Water pump
Timing belt
Oil filter
Spark plugs
Anything else that would be wise to change?

I was thinking about the clutch but I don't know how old/new the one is thats currently fitted, so it could be %100.

Also, does anyone know what spark plugs are best for an early C20XE? Twin or single electrode?

NGK's BKR6EK's will do the job, thats the type of plug they left the factory will.
Have a look at the clutch, if it's got loads of meat on it leave it. But you could get a lighter flywheel, and fit some ARP rod bolts for peace of mind. Also oil pump would be a good idea, but the crank bolt is a bugger to undo.
