ok, the shoes are most likely stopping it from going back on, try levering the in a bit more using a screw driver, if this doesnt work, adjust the self adjuster to make them sit closer together and just be careful when you 1st drive it as they will take a while to adjust out.

Yeh lever the top parts further in (where the pistons are) The adjuster is just below the piston which are at the top. Its got a thread and screw which you need to turn. Hard to explain!

Its got a small clip over it which stops it turning one way, you need to lift up this metal clip and turn it the way its not meant to go (to make the adjuster shorter to allow the pads to sit closer). Only do it as much as you need, not over the top and it takes a while for them to self adjust and you dont want to be driving round with no brakes!

You are welcome, make sure you dont over tighten it back on either once its in place, it needs to spin freely but not too slack. Then stick in the clip or a new one if its mashed. Might as well grease up the outer bearings if you got bearing grease. I done mine weekend just gone. Cleaned all the dust out and cleaned the sufaces up with cleaner but the drums are shot to bits so need new ones soon.

Does one side of the drum go on and the other wont?there shouldnt be anything else stopping it, the outer bearing goes on after the drum. make sure it goes in the right way too as its tapered.

Which bearing is it? as soon as you take the drum off a bearing should have fallen out. This goes in after you put the drum back on.

Sanding wouldn't remove the lips I've seen on a corsa drum.

Yeh you would be there for years, plus it doesnt stop the drum going back on. I think he must be putting it back together wrong.
Take a picture and U2U me it and ill take a look, show me how you are putting it back together.

Ive adjusted the pads and I put the drum on and it didn't touch the pads but it wouldn't go all the way on so the 2nd bearing nearest the hub I took it off and put the drum on and it fitted fine and the shoes didn't interfere with the drum so I'm going to regrease the bearing and try and fit it again unless I need a new bearing

I cant see the pics as the gateway at work blocks pics hosted on external sites, is the bearing in the right way yeh? Ill look when im home. Just make sure its all cleaned up and nothings obstructing it, dont see why it would go on
