got a friend who is breaking an x16xe. I have an x14xe is there anything from his engine that will benefit mine?

Just swap engines over same loom just change ecu transponder and chip in the key!

if im using the existing x14xe loom and ignition barrel n immobiliser would istillneed the x16xe ecu n loom in mine ?

Your still need the X16 ecu else it wont run right at all.

you can run an x16 engine with an x14 ecu but it will be running lean
