it has just had this done to it but their is no receipts to confirm this as the car was taken in p/x and all the work was done buy the last owner who was a vauxhall mechanic.

The engine was fully rebuilt last year by a Vauxhall specialist. Here are details of what was changed:

· New turbo
· Piston rings
· Cam shells
· Crank bolts
· Full head rebuild – including oil seals etc.

It’s also had a recent service comprising of:

· Cambelt kit
· Oil & filter
· Fuel filter
· Panel air filter
· Spark plugs
· Clutch
· Anti-roll bar linkages
· Front & rear brake discs & pads
· Rocker Gasket
· 4x Barum Bravuris tyres

On top of all that, it’s also had the following modificiations:

· Xenon headlight conversion – not just cheap blue bulbs
· De-cat
· Bailey motorsport dump valve
· Side exit exhaust
· Tinted windows all round – including front
· Lowered 80mm on the front & 100mm on the back


Is their any way of checking to see if these thing have been done apart from the obvious parts that can be seen.

76,000 it is a dealer that is selling it, he has taken it in as a p/x so dont know too much info about it apart from that last owner was suppose to have been a vaux mechanic an did all the work

i have looked and couldnt find one, wasnt any on pistonheads that i liked for that price and their are very few for under 4.5-5k

This was on eBay iirc Arden blue?? I've got one it's a love hate thing with mine great fun sometimes a pain I the arse the rest of the time that is some serious work that's had down to it though I would be wary if no receipts though

even if he is a mechanic you would want to see some reciepts for parts.no reciepts = no rebuild imo
