Awesome car. Never seen a blue one before.

I wonder what sort of light he's using in the comparison shots as the paintwork still looks really hazy...

However i'm guessing he's just using a soft light of some sort

Has he masked some of the paintwork aswell in that top pic? as I see a visable line under the black trim, asthough he's masked too much off?

I noticed that too, and i thought it was a corner in the bodywork, but on closer inspection I think it is a masking mark...

Look at the width of the tape compared to the trim, it probably is. What's the reason for that, or is it a mistake?

Thats just poor masking.
This detail isn't all its cracked up to be.

I can see exactly what he's done and why the light looks "soft".

He's shot in RAW and reduced the clarity...

Now that is cheating. And not even in a smart way. All it does is make the paint look hazy.

It's pretty obvious that it's shopped.

Yeah, either reduced clarity in RAW or surface blur. Its definitely something like that.

What? Editing pictures? Don't be daft.
Detailing companies run on reputation. If they got a reputation for editing pictures then people would begin to doubt their work. And with reason too.

It would be like a plastic surgeon getting an airbrusher to touch up all their before and after pics just to hide all the nasty scars and inperfections.

When a surgeon documents their work, they make sure they're scientific with their photo taking. It's obvious that the comparison shot has been take under two different lighting conditions.

Either way, the car looks very tidy afterwards
