i lived in brazil, we had no tv as kids so mama made us act out scenes she had heard the other neighbours talking about. We did this for 12yrs on and off until my dad discovered a car battery someone had discarded in our land, (we owned most of Brazil at the time, but our money was tied up in the maintainence of the land and i had set up a monkey rehoming scheme so had no cash)

anyway, my dad found this car battery so we set about fitting a radio into a cardboard box.......it worked......we now had a radio but papa prefered to call it a wireless.

So i guess my childhood memories are of weather reports and news updates, but i have been left with a great imagination.
