Done some small mods to the Mini. Nothing too exciting but thought I'd show you anyway. Didn't wash it, weather was terrible yesterday.

Changed the front and side indicators for silvertec ones to get rid of the orange. Replaced the yellow DRL's in the front bumper with white LED's and the numberplate lights with LED's too. They've got resistors so they don't throw up any bulb error warnings. The rear lights are already LED as standard so didn't have to do anything with them. Had the chrome front and rear light surrounds wrapped in black vinyl as well.

Couple of interior photos too

Next thing is to get an ITG air filter, supposed to make quite a bit more noise with that fitted and the exhaust should pop and bang even more... apparently Just got to 1,000 miles in it and I love it, had a couple of chances now to really see what it can do down fast and twisty A and B roads and its an absolute weapon!

Strange one this. It looks good but I don't know if your going for the all black menacing look and the red roof/mirrors are the last to be done lol.

I'm going for the grey, black and red look. Anything that is red is staying red, anything grey is staying grey and anything that is chrome is going black (eventually) to match the wheels and other black detailing on the car

I thought it looked cross eyed too Alan but I've got used to it now and like it

Plate has wrecked the car IMO.

The car will be recognised by that rather than the way it looks/goes.

Ok If its any consolation I have my own cherished plate to go on when I decide to put it on. Was going to wait a few months till I put it on as I like the FUD plate

Get some chrome covers to put over the washers. That'll take away the cross eyed look and no one will notice.

Lovely car Mate. A friend of mine has just bought one, bloody quick.

His is red, with black bits... Pretty much the reverse of yours.

Yeah most JCW's are red with black, that's what I was originally going to get to be honest then the dealer I went for a test drive at had a black one with red roof, hadn't seen one before and ended up deciding thats what I wanted but with dark grey paint.

They're not bad performance wise are they

The dealers been absolutely useless from start to finish Phil. The numberplate wasn't supposed to screwed on at all as I was going to put my 3/4 size one on but they went and screwed it on anyway. I will never use them again or recommend them to any one. They're a joke.
